Lietuvos planai šiais metais pastatyti suskystintų gamtinių dujų (SGD) terminalą Baltijos jūros pakrantėje atliko svarbų vaidmenį, šaliai derantis dėl mažesnių dujų kainų su Rusijos dujų koncernu „Gazprom“, mano šalies energetikos ministras. SGD laivą terminalui pastačiusios Norvegijos kompanijos „Hoegh LNG“ vadovo manymu, Lietuvai tai suteikia prekybos ir politinę laisvę.
Lietuva šiuo metu yra visiškai priklausoma nuo „Gazprom“ tiekiamų dujų, už kurias mokėjo 15 proc. daugiau, palyginti su Europos vidurkiu. Nerimas dėl kainų ir energetinio saugumo pask
